High School: Grades 9-12
Jeffrey Miller is Agora’s 9th/10th Grade Assistant Principal. He has been with Agora since January of 2007. Prior to working at Agora, he was a science teacher in Baltimore for 8 years. Jeffrey enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and three children.
Frank Nagy is a High School Assistant Principal. He has been with Agora since 2011. He strives to improve the quality of education and learning environment for every student. Frank enjoys coaching basketball, watching sports and spending time with his family.
Holly is one of Agora’s original staff members. In her 10 years here, Holly served as middle school and high school English teacher, lead teacher, and family coach coordinator. She now serves as 9th grade assistant principal and works with the high school English team. Holly’s passion is to help students enjoy learning as part of a vibrant life. In her free time, Holly enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with her husband, and traveling to visit their three sons.
Regan Shebeck is currently a High School Assistant Principal and works with school operations along with the Electives & Humanities teams. She has been with Agora since 2007 and has served as High School Biology Teacher, Academic Coach and High School Operations Coordinator. Regan enjoys spending time with her two daughters, husband and dog, reading and going to the beach.
Heather McCormick is the Assistant Director of Special Education for the High School at Agora.
Erinn Hunt is the Director of Special Education for the high school at Agora.
Deb is entering her 15th year in Education and this year marks her 5th at Agora. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Arcadia University (2008) and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (2002). She has obtained PA professional certificates for Supervisory-Supervisor of Special Education, Special Education N-12 (teaching), and Reading Specialist PK-12. During her time at Agora, Deb has served as a Special Education Teacher, Reading Specialist, Special Education Academic Coach, and Assistant Director of Special Education. In addition to her time with Agora, Deb has experience in various Special Education, Reading, and Leadership roles both within brick and mortar and other virtual school environments. She is excited for this school year and all it has to offer and looks forward to continuing to collaborate with the Agora team and families to help students reach their highest potential! She resides in the Northeast side of the state with her husband and 2 sons.
Erin Hilson is the Assistant Director of Special Education for the High School at Agora.
Middle School: Grades 6-8
Bridget Kozar is the Middle School Principal. She has been in education for over 20 years with 14 years in virtual education. She is driven by her strong belief that every child should have access to a high quality education. When not working, Bridget loves spending time with her family and playing golf and tennis.
Beryl Cohen serves as a Middle School Assistant Principal. He comes to Agora from a brick-and-mortar charter high school in Philadelphia. He taught Social Studies for eight years, and most recently has worked as an instructional coach and coordinator of professional development. Beryl is confident that through collaboration, communication, and fortitude, we will set our school on a path to success.
Eileen Cannistraci serves as the Middle School Assistant Principal. She has been an educator for 23 years with 10 years of experience in Philadelphia School District, and 13 years in cyber education. Eileen is driven to ensure students in Pennsylvania receive an equitable education that is not determined by where a student resides. Her hobbies include reading and cheering for Philadelphia sports teams and Penn State!
Michelle Cukauskas is the Assistant Director of Special Education at the middle school. This is her 10thyear at Agora. Previously she worked in special education classrooms in the Pittsburgh area. She is passionate about special education and has a firm believe that ALL students can learn and succeed. It is the educator’s responsibility to unlock the door for each student to flourish and reach their full potential. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins!
Elementary School: Grades K-5
Jansen Hornbake is the Elementary School Principal. She is passionate about the success of each and every one of Agora's students and staff members. When not working, Jansen loves spending time with her family and cheering on Philadelphia sports teams.
Jim Montgomery is an Elementary School Assistant Principal. Jim is excited to part of the elementary school team and loves supporting students on an academic and personal level. Jim has a background in social studies and has a passion for making history come alive.
Jen Clark is the Director of Special Education for all of Agora.
Jen Lucia is the Assistant Director of Special Education for the elementary school at Agora.
