Marie Williams is a high school Academic Coach at Agora. She is passionate about the success of implementing innovative strategies in the classroom through coaching. In my free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 year old daughter in addition to working out and creating arts & crafts projects.
Maryann Weidner is a 9th and 10th grade Strong Start Orientation teacher. She is passionate about interacting with new students who come to Agora for the first time. When not teaching, Maryann is busy with her family of 6 including her twin boys. She also likes spending time outdoors with her family and playing sports.
Melissa Stump has been an educator for over 15 years and is a Special Education Case Manager. She earned a Master’s degree from Slippery Rock University in Special Education, an English degree from Augusta State University (now Georgia Regents University), and a Studio Arts degree from Purdue University. Melissa lives in a suburb of Pittsburgh with her husband, four amazing daughters, and two dogs. She currently goes to a kettlebell gym and attempts to run most days when she is not absorbed in her other hobbies: reading, art, jewelry, design, and sports.
Mia Jafarian is an 11th and 12th grade Guidance Counselor at Agora. She is passionate about helping her students accomplish their goals and making plans for their future. When not working, she enjoys riding her horse named Mac and competing in horse shows.
Michelle Cukauskas is a middle school Special Education Academic Coach and has been with Agora since 2003. She is passionate about inclusion and ensuring that all students reach their academic success within the classroom. When she is not working, she enjoys entertaining friends & family and spending time with her husband and twins.
Michelle Tilsner is a middle school Reading Specialist. She is passionate about literacy and getting students to read every day. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking and traveling.
Mike Mirth is an 11th and 12th grade counselor at Agora. He is passionate about cyber education and its flexibility of creating individual plans for students from many different backgrounds. When not counseling, Mike enjoys spending time with his three girls, geocaching, playing basketball and is a West Virginia University sports fanatic.
Mindy Rockower is an 11th and 12th grade Guidance Counselor at Agora. She is passionate about helping her students achieve their college and career goals. When not counseling, Mindy can be found playing with her daughter, running around with her Yorkie-poo, and enjoying quality time with her family.
Morgan Galonski is a 9th grade Reading Specialist. She is passionate about literacy because she believes words have the power to change the world. When she’s not teaching, you can often find Morgan reading a novel or two or creating something crafty.
NaQuisha Hartwell-Bradford is a Classroom Coach at the Learning Center. She loves working with students and helping them reach their full academic potential. When she’s not working, NaQuisha loves spending time with her family and friends.
Nikole Zurek is a Focus Intervention Specialist for high school. She is passionate about individualizing programs and instructions for all students. In her free time, she likes to write and has published a children’s book titled Walt the Onederful.
Pamela Zakielarz is a 9th and 10th grade Guidance Counselor. She is passionate about being able to help every student grow into the best person (not just a student!) that they can be, and about motivating each student to realize their full potential. Pamela loves to read, find new music, dance, cook, run, and spend time with her husband, her 3 year old French Bulldog Louis, friends, and awesome family.
Rebecca Adams is a high school Academic Coach. She is passionate about helping students and teachers be successful and make a difference in their lives. When Rebecca is not working, she is hiking with her dog in the mountains (summer or winter, it doesn't matter).
Rebecca Kenzakowski is Agora’s high school Biology Specialist. She is passionate about getting students to love biology. When not teaching, Rebecca loves cooking, baking and spending time with her many nieces and nephews.
Renee Fitzgibbon is an elementary Reading Specialist at Agora. She is passionate about creating a virtual learning environment where students are engaged and motivated to learn. When not teaching, Renee enjoys spending time with her family and running.
Roxanne Zeisloft is a high school Guidance Counselor. She is passionate about helping students navigate this very exciting, important, and often confusing time in their lives, with so many decisions to make! When not working, Roxanne enjoys volunteering in the community with her husband and three children.
Sandi Wrigley is a third grade Math Specialist. She is passionate about providing personalized learning to her students. When not teaching, you can often find Sandi spending time with her family.
Shelley Stump is a Special Education Enrollment Specialist with Agora. She is passionate about finding the right fit for students in their educational needs. When away from the Agora computer, Shelley can be found spending time with her family and volunteering with the media/creative team at her church.
Stacey Pavlik works with the related services team as the Medical Access Specialist. She is passionate about Agora’s special education program and making sure it can continue to grow and improve. Outside of work, Stacey is a dog-lover and food enthusiast who loves spending time with her family.
Stacy Christmas is a middle school Math Specialist at Agora. She is passionate about her students and making them realize their true potential. When not teaching math, you can find Stacy working on math puzzles, playing math games, or creating ridiculously challenging math problems for her students to work on. You can also find her outside playing with Sam and Sydney, her two adorable kids.
Steve Nugent is an Academic Coach at Agora. He is thrilled to work with such dedicated educators to help make Agora a top school of choice for students in PA. When not working, Steve loves spending time with his family and two dogs.
Suzanne Klein graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges then got her Master's degree in Counseling and Human Development from the University of Rochester. She loves being a School Counselor and enjoys working with students on career development, motivation, time management, PSAT/SAT prep, self-esteem, goal setting, and so much more. Some hobbies she enjoys include: running, walking her dog, baking, cooking, and being with family and friends.
Tamara Mattier is a middle school Orientation Advisor / Strong Start Coach. She is passionate about helping teach students how to develop the skills to navigate and adjust to the middle school format that we use here at Agora. When not at work, she enjoys DIY projects, running and watching movies.
Tara Quisito is a high school Guidance Counselor. She is passionate about helping every student reach their goal of graduation. When Tara is not working, she enjoys running and playing outside with her 2 children.
Tom Paluszek is a Learning Center Classroom Coach. He finds passion in working for the betterment of the Agora students, not just academically but socially as well. He strives to build students to be not only good students but also good people. When not teaching, you can find him enjoying his time on anything that can remotely resemble a soccer field.
Tristan Zelinka is a 9th and 10th grade Guidance Counselor. He is a passionate about helping students see the best in themselves and others. One of Tristan’s proudest accomplishments is when he was able to finish a marathon in Scranton, PA in less than 5 hours. He learned very quickly the power of positive thinking and how detrimental phrases like “I can’t” actually are. Anytime you need a quick pep-talk, come and chat with Tristan.
Whitney Patterson has been a high school Guidance Counselor for almost 6 years. At Agora, she is passionate about working with students to display a positive attitude and assisting them in learning how school performance relates to future opportunities. When not counseling students, she enjoys voice-over work, designing websites, and providing public relations for her family’s business, The Pittsburgh Pickle Company.
