Mara Visaya-Loub is a High School Transition Teacher at Agora. She enjoys teaching her students about post-high school tools. When not teaching, she enjoys hanging out with her 3 sons and reading.
Marcy Purdy is a high school math teacher at Agora. She is passionate about teaching students how they can apply math to their everyday lives. When not teaching, Marcy loves to spend time with her family swimming, playing games and hiking.
Marianne Keck is a high school Physics and Chemistry teacher. She is passionate about making all her students realize that anything is possible and that all they need to do is try. When not teaching, you can often find Marianne traveling to different parts of the world.
Maureen Betts is a High School Special Education teacher here at Agora. She is passionate about helping all students overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. When not teaching, Maureen loves to spend time with her family, cook and read.
Maureen Donnelly is a high school math teacher at Agora. She loves to encourage students to have fun with math, so that those same concepts thought to be difficult will become second-nature to them. When not teaching, Maureen loves to be around horses. She was the assistant trainer for the famous horse Smarty Jones in 2004, and will be happy to share all experiences with her students.
Megan Edmundson is a high school English teacher and has been with Agora since 2006. She is currently teaching Creative Writing and other English electives and has a great passion for empowering students through their writing. Megan looks forward to the future at Agora and is excited to be a part of the evolution of this wonderful school! When not teaching, she loves spending time reading, cooking, and dreaming of the beach.
Meghan Stalebrink is a high school English teacher. She has been a teacher for 8 years, leading classes in English, Communications and Art History at Elizabethtown College and West Virginia University. When not in the classroom, she is marathon-training and traveling the world with her family. Prior to starting her teaching career, she worked in the education and marketing departments for C-SPAN, OVATION – The Arts Network, and the Hershey Story Museum.
Melanie Walters is a high school Biology Teacher at Agora. She loves science and enjoys sharing all that is cool about Biology with her students. When not teaching, you can often find Melanie on the go with her family.
Michele Elchisak is a high school special education teacher at Agora. She is passionate about getting to know her students, their learning styles, and building upon them to help her students be successful. When not teaching, Michele loves spending time with her family and gardening.
Michelle Jeffrey is a high school Resource Room teacher at Agora. She thinks reading is the most important thing to teach, and she wants her students to be as enthusiastic about reading as she is. In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading (of course!), and spending time with her husband and two sons.

Michelle is an advocate for equality and the reduction of bullying. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching HGTV, and finding projects around the house.

When not teaching, Mike loves to work out at the Y and go on walks and bike rides with his wife Barbara, build stuff, and solve Sudoku puzzles.

Monique Uttecht is a high school special education teacher and co-teaches a few of the Biology classes in the high school. She is passionate about making sure that all students are able to succeed and achieve to their highest potential. Morgan Witman is a high school special education teacher at Agora. She is passionate about helping students achieve their academic and personal goals by creating strong connections. When not working, Morgan loves to read and is on the board of directors for two non-profit agencies that support individuals with mental health issues in Lebanon County.
Nancy Reimers is a high school Resource Room teacher at Agora. The thing she loves the most about teaching at Agora is getting to work closely with her students and their families. When not teaching, she spends time with her family in church and mission activities.
Nancy Waters has worked for Agora since 2011 and is a business education teacher at the high school level. She loves Agora because it is a life saver to so many families who prefer alternatives methods of getting an education. When not teaching, Nancy enjoys cooking and baking with her daughter and helping out with her family’s apple orchard.
Nichole Simpson teaches high school art education. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and excitement of fine arts with all of her students. When not teaching, you can find Nichole spending time outside with her family hiking, camping and fishing.
Nicole Bowie is a high school health teacher at Agora. She is passionate about providing choices and individualized learning to each student in the cyber environment. When not teaching, you can often find Nicole going to the gym, playing volleyball, and having fun with her family.
Nicole Camaioni is a social studies teacher. She went to Edinboro University for her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and received her teaching certificate from the University of Pittsburgh. Additionally, she has a doctoral degree from the School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh. Nicole is a huge Steelers fan and enjoys going to all the games. She also has a sweet Boxer dog named Czarina.
Ocie Hill is a World History teacher at Agora. She is passionate about making all of her students feel that they are valuable and can do anything. When not teaching, you can find Ocie spending time with her family, and doing lots of crafts.
Pam Maio is a high school English teacher at Agora. She is passionate about providing her students with real-word experiences that extend beyond the classroom. Before she became a teacher, Pam worked as a newspaper reporter, magazine editor, and copywriter. When not teaching, Pam enjoys spending time with her friends and family - and shoe shopping!
Patricia Smith is a high school math teacher. She is passionate about showing students various ways of solving real-life math problems in her virtual classes on a daily basis. When not teaching, you can find her at the softball fields cheering on her daughters, or enjoying the great outdoors with her family.
Pete Sukanick teaches health and physical education in the high school at Agora. He is passionate about health and fitness. He teaches students the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle through both a healthy diet and exercise. He enjoys playing the guitar and any and all sports whenever time allows!

Richard "Rick" Tkach is an English teacher. He graduated from Clarion University with a degree in Secondary Education, English in 2008 and a Master’s degree in Education in 2012. This is his 7th year teaching and 6th year teaching in cyber school. He likes to spend his spare time in the outdoors and relaxing with his wife, Amber and dog, Lola.
Rhonda Williams is an English teacher. She is passionate about helping students grow to reach their goals. During her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and four children hiking, biking and canoeing. She also loves to read.
Robert Thomas is a high school art teacher at Agora. His primary goal as an art teacher is to help students reach their fullest potential in academics and in life. When not working, Robert enjoys watching his Pittsburgh Steelers and spending time with family and friends.
Rosa’lyn Finlayson is a high school English teacher at Agora. She is passionate about exploring and interpreting literature with her students. When not teaching, you can often find Rosa'lyn relaxing to a variety of music genres and watching movies that make her laugh.
Samantha Miller teaches British and World Literature and AP English. She came to Agora after completing a year-long fellowship in education innovation at Arizona State University that focused on strengthening community/school relationships. Samantha has published in Teaching of Psychology, delivered conference papers in the field of peace and justice studies, and has worked in curriculum development for many years. In her free time, she enjoys creative writing, learning to cook Japanese dishes, and taking dance classes at the local YMCA.
Sarah Elizabeth Rau is a Biology teacher at Agora. She is passionate about treating each student as if he or she is the most important and delivering a fun yet informative live lessons. When Sarah is not teaching her wonderful students, she spends her time with her family and enjoys four-wheeling, horseback riding, taking care of her animals or relaxing with a good book. An avid gardener, Sarah literally enjoys getting out and smelling the roses.
Sarah Ronosky is a high school special education teacher at Agora. She loves being part of Agora and getting to know her students and their stories. In her free time, she is outdoors with her family camping, hiking, and biking.
Sarah Weikert is a high school art teacher at Agora. She teaches several different technology-based art classes including Digital Arts, 3D Modeling and 3D Animation. She has also taught AP Art History for the past three years. In addition to being a certified art teacher, Sarah also has a degree in Graphic Design and Web Design. She loves that these classes give her the opportunity to share with her students both technical skills and artistic creativity.
Sharon Kelso is an English teacher. She has been teaching at Agora since 2012. She is passionate about her subject and loves to share that passion with her students. When not working, you can find her spending time with her family and friends, accompanying her children to their many activities, or catching up on her favorite television shows.
Sharon Lynn is a high school driver’s safety teacher at Agora. She is committed to assisting each of her students to become a safe and responsible driver. In her spare time, she likes to hike, play the piano, and solve all kinds of puzzles.
Shila Cramer is a high school science teacher at Agora. She loves working with high school students who are inspired about life and is very enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge of science. Outside of school, Shila loves spending time with her husband, two children, dog, friends and family and eating ice cream.

She has her Associate's and Bachelor's degrees from Youngstown State University and her Master's degree from Grand Canyon University. She loves to cook an bake when not working, and enjoys swapping recipes with her students and families.
Susan Stark teaches World History and Contemporary World Issues at Agora. She is passionate about providing quality education for her students and guiding them toward their love for education. When not working, Susan loves to read and travel.
Suzanne Garber is a special education teacher at Agora. She is passionate about meeting the diverse needs of all of her students. When not teaching, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family, long walks with her dog and singing karaoke.
As a special education teacher, Tamika Pitchford encourages her students to resist mediocrity and to embrace the exceptionalities in order to prepare them for a life that is purposeful and fulfilling. Tamika shares these same values with her own teen-aged children through ministry and international travel.
Tandy Draper teaches high school Chemistry. She graduated from college with a degree in Chemistry and worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a Research Scientist for several years until she decided to get certified to teach. Through Agora, she has learned to really love the students that she serves and feels she has changed some negative attitudes about science. Her favorite thing to hear as a teacher is: “I didn’t think I would enjoy Chemistry but Mrs. Draper made it fun.” Laerning should be fun!
Taryn Morgan is a high school science teacher at Agora. She is passionate about providing a personalized and engaging learning experience to her virtual classes. When not teaching, you can find Taryn spending time her family, or working on the family’s farm.
Terri Hunkele is a high school special education teacher at Agora. She is passionate about getting to know her students on a personal level so that she can best support their individual needs. When not teaching, you can often find Terri reading, biking, participating in church groups and activities, and spending time with her family.
Tim Mazer is a high school social studies teacher at Agora. He is passionate about motivating his students to be the best versions of themselves that they can be, both academically and personally. In his spare time, Tim enjoys attending Penn State Football games and traveling with his wife.
After studying Ancient History, Greek, and Latin at Penn State University where he also received M.A. in History and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, Tom Shields went on to teach high school for 3 years, then college for 8 years. He currently teaches Social Studies and Latin at Agora. Since starting with Agora 5 years ago, he got married, had a son and bought a house in Collegeville. Tom has seen firsthand how successful a cyber school can be for those students who come to Agora seeking a better and safer environment to learn in.
Tonya Smith has been teaching English for 20 years, 8 of those years are with Agora, and it is truly the most rewarding career she could have chosen! She earned her Bachelor's degree in English from Seton Hall University, and she is certified to teach in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania High Schools. She has been nominated for many awards within her profession, including Disney’s National Teacher award. She is very proud of the fact that all of these nominations have come from her students and parents. Tonya is truly devoted to her students and loves being a teacher. In fact, she grows to love it more with every passing year!
Tovah MacLacklin is a high school English teacher at Agora. She loves to help students think about literature and improve their writing skills. When not working, Tovah enjoys dancing, reading, playing with her son, and relaxing at the beach.
Trisa Lesczynski is a family and consumer science teacher. She loves that what she teaches is relevant to the real world. She is also a group leader for the Agora International Travel Club where she combines her passion for travel with education. She loves to spend time with her husband and three sons, as well as reading, scrapbooking and cooking.
Valerie Natale has been a high school special education teacher at Agora since 2012. She is passionate about supporting students and helping them to succeed. When she is not teaching, Valerie can be found taking care of her 3 children or cooking up all kinds of delicious meals in the kitchen. Her favorite place to be is the beach with her toes in the sand and a book in her hand!
