Alexandra Webb has been teaching for 5 years and at Agora for 3 years. She got married last August at the beach. Her and her husband Ryan recently welcomed their first baby boy, Mason. They also have a Boston terrier named Hercules. She is a huge Penguins & Steelers fan.
Allison Keefe is a middle school English teacher here at Agora. She is passionate about teaching her students to use their unique voices. When not in the (virtual) classroom, Allison enjoys traveling to new places, both physically and with the aid of a good book. Some of her other favorite activities include writing novels, singing arias, and visiting aquariums to learn more about her very favorite animal – the shark.
Arlene Hanna is a seventh grade math teacher at Agore. She is passionate about advancing students ability to explain their problem solving process. When not teaching, Arlene can be found outdoors biking and swimming. She loves to ride the tallest and fastest roller coasters.
Amy Barrett is a seventh grade math teacher at Agora. She is passionate about keeping all students engaged and excited to be in her classroom. When not teaching, Amy loves spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors.
Amy Cadwallader is a middle school math teacher at Agora. She is passionate about teaching and widening the world view for all students she interacts with. When not teaching, Amy can be found traveling to local attraction sites or relaxing at home with her husband and her beloved Shih-Tzu.
This is Angela Bayly’s ninth year as a middle school English teacher at Agora Cyber Charter School. She is passionate about motivating students to establish goals and routines that will lead to their academic success. Outside of the classroom, Angela enjoys being a wife and mother-of-three. She also plays in several post-college basketball leagues and enjoys playing the piano and guitar.
Angela Lavin is a middle school math teacher at Agora. She is passionate about making her lessons reach out to every student. When not teaching, Angela loves to spend time with her 2 children on the ice or at the pool.
Anne Dillon teaches middle school English at Agora. She is committed to teaching her students how to develop and communicate their ideas effectively, how to read for both understanding and pleasure and how to have fun with language arts. When she is not teaching, she loves to spend as much time as possible outdoors with her husband and three kids.
Ashley Burns is a seventh grade English teacher. She is passionate about success for every student at Agora, and she’s so thankful that families can have a choice in their students’ education! When not teaching, you can find Ashley chasing her one-year-old daughter, going to Penguins’ hockey games with her husband, stopping at Chick-Fil-A for a sweet tea, or shopping with friends.
Ashley Smith is a sixth grade science teacher who loves to do scientific experiments for her kids here at Agora! She is passionate about finding new information on science topics and is always ready to learn new things to teach her students. When not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Brandon Bird is a middle school science teacher at Agora. He is passionate about providing students with real life examples to connect to science concepts taught in class. When Brandon is not teaching, he spends as much time with family and friends and the great outdoors.
Brenna Saxton is an eighth grade history teacher. She is passionate about finding a way to make student enjoy learning about the past. When not teaching, she loves to spend her time hiking, cooking, knitting, and making every moment count!
Brittany Reiman is a 7th & 8th grade special education teacher. She is passionate about providing individualized learning to all of her students. When not teaching, you can find Brittany spending time with her husband and a 3-year-old lab, Bailey.
Caitlin Johnson is a sixth grade Earth Science teacher and is a graduate of Kutztown University (go Golden Bears!). She grew up in New Jersey at the shore, but now she lives on Lake Wallenpaupack with her husband Matt, her three crazy dogs, two cats and her awesome horse Dustin!! She loves anything outdoors, painting with watercolors, and of course - she loves to show her horse in horse shows on the weekends.
Cathryn Mack works in the life skills department as an autism/multiple disability support teacher. She is driven to find ways that will help her students succeed in their daily lives. When not working, she enjoys doing needlework of many kinds, reading, and playing with her grandson.
Christopher Bray is a seventh grade history teacher here. He absolutely loves being a teacher at Agora because Agora is on the cutting edge of online learning. Outside of work, he loves to play all sorts of sports. From golf and basketball to baseball and fishing, he loves being outside and having fun.
Cody Smith is a middle school history teacher at Agora. He is passionate about showing students learning can be fun. When not teaching, you can often find Cody building radio control cars or sitting on the beach.
Dave DiVito is a middle school physical education teacher at Agora. He is passionate about fitness and living an active lifestyle. When not teaching, you can find Dave weight lifting, biking or hanging out with his family. His hobby is anything involving Corvettes.
Dayna Houseknecht is a seventh grade English teacher here. She is passionate about giving her students every opportunity to succeed to their highest potential. When Dayna is not teaching, she loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys camping, reading, and going to the beach.
Dean Griffith is an eighth grade history teacher. He loves that Agora provides a safe learning environment for our students. He also loves interacting with his students in the virtual classroom. When not teaching, you can find Dean in creek fishing for trout or at home playing a new board game.
Denise Gamoneda is a middle school special education learning support teacher here at Agora. She is passionate about Agora because of the diverse connections she can make with students across the state. When she is not teaching or making lessons, Denise enjoys spending time with family, exercising, traveling, and cooking.
Teaching is Diane Stewart's 4th career, but it is the one she has always wanted to do. Prior to being at Agora, she taught physical education, was a YMCA program director, and a computer programmer. Ever since 10th grade Geometry, she has wanted to be a math teacher. She lives in Pittsburgh with her 2 boys. Diane loves dogs, football, non-fiction books, and being a math teacher!
Doris Dannaker is an eighth grade math teacher. She likes interacting with her students every day and is actively searching for ways to make her classes more engaging and interesting. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, loves the beach, and dives into do-it-yourself projects at home.
