Harold Hokanson teaches physical education and health at Agora. He loves teaching new concepts about the different physical needs for a cyber-school student. When he is not working with his students, Harold loves to play water polo, kayak, and hike or just about anything outdoors.
Heidi Lecier is a middle school science teacher at Agora. She is enthusiastic about teaching and creating an environment where students are challenged to think beyond their classroom. When she’s not doing science experiments, she enjoys being with her family, reading great books and taking watercolor painting classes.
Jacqueline Monterroso is an eighth grade history teacher. She is passionate about helping students learn about the past and relating the material to their everyday lives. When not teaching, you can often find Jacqueline travelling, learning Spanish, cooking, or playing sports.
Jenna Dietrich is a special education teacher. She graduated from Slippery Rock University with her Bachelors in elementary education and Masters in special education. She is married to her high school sweetheart with two sons, Jesse Jr. and Jackson. When not teaching, Jenna enjoys spending time with her family, reading, camping, and watching the Steelers!
Jessica Hill is a sixth grade American history teacher. She is very passionate about learning and has become a lifelong learner along with her students. When not teaching, she enjoys bike riding and swimming with her family.
Jessica May is a special education teacher. She is passionate about providing specialized tools and techniques to make every student successful. When not teaching, you can find Jessica spending time with her family, scrapbooking, or enjoying a new adventure.
Jill Phillips is a History teacher. She is passionate about inspiring her students to develop a love of learning and challenging them to reach their highest potential. When not teaching, Jill enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family.
Jim Shaffer is an eighth grade World History teacher. He is passionate about students learning why people, places and events happen in history rather than just the who, what and when. When not teaching, Jim is actively involved in his church working with youth and volunteering for events.
Karen Hamburger is a math teacher. She is passionate about her students seeing math as a non-threatening and easy subject. She is also passionate about breaking down the walls of “I can’t do math.” When not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, running and enjoying a good book.
Katie Mild is a 7th and 8th grade Health and Physical Education teacher. She loves getting to know her students and sharing her passion of health with them. When not working, Katie can be found playing and going on adventures with her two boys, Jaxon and Jase.
Kelly Krelove is a science teacher. She is passionate about helping her students explore the world around them. She encourages students to realize that science is all about asking questions on how things work and then seeking to find the answers. In her time off, Kelly volunteers as an emergency medical technician and enjoys reading Star Wars books.
Kelly Snyder is an English teacher. She is passionate about having students interact with one another and with the texts they are reading in the virtual classroom. When not teaching, Kelly loves spending time with her family and vacationing at the beach.
Kim Kreseski is a sixth grade English teacher. Kim is passionate about making learning fun and exciting for all students. When Kim is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Kimberly Paolino is a special education teacher. At Agora, she loves being creative in her instruction as she helps build their academic, functional and social skills. Kimberly is married and has two children, Vera and Ezra. She love scrapbooking, completing DIY projects, reading, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
Kym Humanick is a middle school special education teacher. She is passionate about making learning fun and relevant to each student! When not teaching, you can often find Kym playing the piano and singing or reading a good book.
Lauren Ardiff is a middle school Life Science teacher. She is passionate about providing engaging, interactive learning to her virtual classes. When not working with her students, you can often find Lauren spending time with her family doing something outdoors.
Lew Kroner is an eighth grade science teacher. He loves using humor in the virtual classroom to keep students engaged and excited about learning science concepts. When not teaching, you can frequently find Lew camping or boating with his wife and 4 children.
Linda Dupes is an English and History teacher who loves the accessibility of Agora. Students can get an amazing education with the support of teachers no matter where they are and what they are doing as long as they have Internet access. In her free time, she loves to read and travel all over the world with her husband and two nearly grown children. She is also a “pioneer” of cyber schools as her children have been educated via cyber schools since 2003; her son is a 2013 graduate of Agora.
Lisa Berger has been teaching history at Agora since 2010. She holds a Master’s in Education from Walden University and a B.A. in History from the University of Pittsburgh. Lisa has 3 teenage children who keep her very busy. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, reading mystery books, swimming, and cheering on the Steelers. Lisa’s favorite part of working at Agora is her students! Each year, she meets students who inspire her. Lisa she loves to get them thinking and working towards their futures.
Luke Lubich is Agora’s seventh grade Health and Physical Education teacher. He is passionate about making sure Agora students are developing active and healthy lifestyles! When not teaching, Luke enjoys training for triathlons, camping, hiking and kayaking.
